Mr. Bell has an extensive business background spanning 30 years in accounting, tax, auditing, executive search and teaching. He earned his CPA in 1978 while working at Hurdman and Cranstoun, now part of KPMG Peat Marwick. He went on to work as an ARAMCO Senior Auditor, as an auditor and corporate controller for commercial property, multifamily and R.E.I.T. management companies and as a VP of the Accounting and Finance Division of Robert Grant Associates, Executive Search Consultants.
In addition to his SANDELL Consulting affiliation, Mr Bell has owned Edward Bell Associates Executive Search Consultants since 1985 which has received top rankings for Executive Search Firms in the Bay Area.
Mr. Bell earned both his MBA and undergraduate business degree at U.C. Berkeley. He has taught at U.C. Berkeley, University of Phoenix, DeAnza College and is currently teaching a graduate level class in Financial Statement Analysis at Silicon Valley University.
