It is dedicated to providing high quality multi-level consulting and advisory services to management and/or owners of large or medium sized companies. The objective is to facilitate highly profitable results while creating and managing enterprise value for our clients. The firm services the following industries: Financial Services including Banking, Real Estate and Insurance; Healthcare/Medical, Technology/High-tech, Automotive/Financing/Leasing and Manufacturing. We offer clients seasoned judgment and perspective-based strategies drawing from our many years of experience operating and managing in various business cycles. We have particular expertise in strategic planning, financial services, high-tech concepts, clean technology alternatives and real estate services.

Meet J.R. Sandell

J. Rune (J.R.) Sandell is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years of experience building and managing companies across financial services, real estate, and technology sectors. As the founder of SANDELL Consulting, he brings deep expertise in strategic planning, risk analysis, and enterprise growth, having worked with Fortune 100 firms and entrepreneurial ventures alike.

Known for his results-driven leadership and analytical precision, J.R. has led large-scale financial teams and cross-functional professionals in managing multi-billion-dollar assets. His work spans industries such as auto leasing, veterinary pharmaceuticals, IT outsourcing, and real estate advisory.

J.R. holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Strategic Planning from top Swedish universities, and earned his MBA in Finance from the University of California, Riverside. He is an active member of SACC, AMA, and TMA, and brings a global perspective shaped by life and work across Europe and the U.S.
